The program of this tour combines everything that is included in Wroclaw City Walk + Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice + Centennial Hall.
The first part of the tour would start by taking a look at the historical background of Wroclaw and Poland. One of the biggest attractions will be a visit in the National Museum where we will admire the masterpiece “Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice”, the most visited tourist spot in Wroclaw. This huge oil painting is 15 meters high and 114 meters long! The monumental cycloramic art of work was designed for the 100th anniversary of the Kosciuszko Insurrection. In 1794 the Polish rebellion defeated the Russian army. The Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice is located in a circular building. The viewer stands in the central point and around him extends and extraordinary painting depicting various scenes.
During this tour we will also take a look at pearl of modernist architecture – famous Centennial Hall which is included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. If you would be taking this tour between April and October, we can also take you to Japanese Garden in Wroclaw – a huge landscaped garden, reconstructed after flood damages with the assistance of the Japanese government which contains many species of Asian plants. It becomes especially amazing place in spring when cherry trees are blooming.
