We take you to Karkonosze Mountains, the highest in the Sudeten chain. You will visit attractive small towns in the lower parts of the mountains like Karpacz and Szklarska Poreba and also the major starting point for mountain hikers – Jelenia Gora. Karpacz and Szklarska Poreba are major and most popular ski resorts in this area. There is a worth seeing wooden church in Karpacz which was brought from Vang, Norway. In Szklarska Poreba you can feel the atmosphere of ski resort and admire lots of wooden houses, typical for the Sudety region. This town is also famous for its glassworks – handmade crystal artifacts are available in local kiosks. In Jelenia Gora you will see the town’s major attraction – Main Market surrounded by arcaded town houses and Baroque town hall.
